There has been many times in each of our lives that people have helped us when we really needed it. So in the spirit of “giving something back”, we launched The Marketing Table’s own Pay It Forward campaign.

Once a month we hold a free clinic for non-clients who might need our help with an issue in their business. All you have to do is call, tell us what’s on your mind and then promise to help three others in return at some point in the future.

The good deed should be something that the person cannot accomplish on their own. There’s no time limit and there’s no checking up just a belief that we all have by nature a desire to help each other and here’s a way you can do it.

Pay it forward is the concept made popular by the film Pay it Forward in 2000 but was actually a phrase coined by Robert A. Heinlein in a book he published in 1951.

In a nutshell it’s the idea that you do three good deeds for a person unrelated to you in return for a good deed that you receive.
